All 4 of us travelers are healthy and happy. We just wanted all of you to know that Megan and I saw Liss and Kate off at the airport today. They will be arriving back home late tonight (either 11PM or 1AM, depending on which ferry they get).
Megan and I bought Eurail passes good for 1st class train travel in Germany, France, and Italy for 5 travel days out of the next month. We fly back in 6 days, so we will be spending a lot of our time on trains. I bought a wireless account that allows me to be online as we travel, so hopefully I can stay in touch (at 300 kmh!).
Speaking of staying in touch, my phone does *not* appear to be working. Everything appears good, but it constantly says “no service”, so something must be broken inside. It did sustain a few good drops this trip.
Megan and I will be staying with the Lehnerts for 1 more night tonight. Tomorrow, we hope to visit Anne Bonamy or her sister Sophie near Nantes. After that, we will probably head toward Italy as we want to explore Rome, Florence, Pisa, and Milan.

I was able to follow your trip through all the Facebook photos. Looks like you guys had a great time.
Say hi to Anne and/or Sophie for us. Anne can speak English reasonably well, but her partner Didier not so much. And Sophie and Jerome don't speak very much English at all. :(
Hopefully you aren't flying through the cities too quickly ... it's better to enjoy one city than to zip through four!
